As the transfer portal window rolls on, commitments from athletes across the landscape of college football will quickly begin to flood the timelines of college football fans.

This article will track each commitment the Eagles land out of the transfer portal, plus a short blurb about each player.

WR Alex Taylor - North Carolina: Taylor — a former four-star — hauled in just four receptions for 42 yards in two years as a Tar Herl, but also brings past chemistry with quarterback Max Johnson to the table. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

WR Andre Greene Jr. - Virginia: In four years at the Power Four level, Greene hauled in just 15 receptions for 124 yards and one touchdown. But after his fomer quarterback, Max Johnson, landed in Statesboro, Greene quickly followed suit. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

DL Anthony Bynum - Middle Tennessee State: Bynum is the most productive defensive transfer to join the Eagles so far this offseason, totaling 123 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, five pass breakups and a forced fumble this season. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

WR Ashton Hollins - Illinois: After hauling in just 15 receptions for 267 yards and one touchdown, Hollins is looking to emulate the season Camden Brown just put together in Statesboro. At worst, the 6-foot-5 target should serve as a true jump ball threat. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

K Blake Ford - Arkansas: Ford did not see the field much for the Razorbacks, but was North Texas’ kickoff specialist in 2024. He ranked inside the top-35 In touchback percentage at the FBS level and should provide some much needed competition at the kicker position for the Eagles. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

WR Cam’Ron King - Auburn: After seeing the success his former teammate — Camden Brown — had at Georgia Southern, King decided to take his talents to Statesboro as well. He hauled in just one reception for six yards as a Tiger, but was honored with a scholarship this season. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

OL Cole Norred - East Tennessee State: Norred made the jump to the FBS level after earning FCS Freshman All-American honors in 2025. He announced his commitment following a two-day visit in Statesboro. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

LB Diego Aviles - Wingate: The Eagles extended an offer to Aviles just hours after the transfer portal window officially opened and made the trip to Statesboro just a day later. In an exclusive conversation with GATA Central during his visit, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker said he was “loving every single moment.” In 10 appearances this season, Aviles totaled 40 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one sack and one forced fumble. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

LB Festus Davies -West Georgia: After making his way to Statesboro for a visit on Thursday, Davies wasted no time and by Saturday he had announced his commitment to Georgia Southern. During his final season with the Wolves, he accumulated 32 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and one pass deflection. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

DB Jakyri Jones - Southeastern Louisiana: The same day he announced his entry into the transfer portal, Jones locked in a visit to Statesboro. And just two days after making his way to campus, he announced his commitment to the Georgia Southern. In 13 appearances this season, Jones totaled 75 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three pass deflections, two forced fumbles and one quarterback hurry. He has up to two years of eligibility remaining.

OL Josh Raymond - Florida State: Raymond redshirted at Vanderbilt before transferring to Florida State, where he appeared in just two games. However, his size and pedigree make him a prime candidate to start along a completely redone offensive line at Georgia Southern. He has three years of eligibility left.

WR Kam Mikell - Colorado: As soon as Mikell — a former top-100 recruit at Statesboro High School — entered the transfer portal, he immediately became a priority target for Georgia Southern. It did not take long to get Mikell back home and on a visit, which ultimately led to his commitment to his hometown university. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

QB Max Johnson - North Carolina: With almost zero national media coverage regarding his recruitment, Johnson’s commitment to Georgia Southern seemingly came out of nowhere. Injuries have derailed the majority of his six-year career, but he threw for 2,814 yards, 28 total touchdowns and just six interceptions during his 2021 campaign at LSU. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

DB Noah Mangham - Abilene Christian: Although the numbers may not jump off the page, Mangham was a full-time starter at both Abilene Christian and Northern Colorado. He totaled 32 tackles, nine pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one sack in 2025. He has one year of eligibility left.

WR Noble Johnson - Arizona State: Johnson began his career at Clemson, hauling in three receptions for 16 yards for the Tigers. However, a late-season injury ended his time in Clemson and forced him to miss an entire season in Tempe. He comes to Statesboro with three years remaining.

DT O’marion Brown - Wofford: Brown also made his way to Statesboro just a day after the transfer portal window officially opened. And just minutes after Aviles announced his commitment to the Eagles, Brown followed suit. He accounted for 40 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one quarterback hurry and one forced fumble as a sophomore. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

LB Rashon Myles Jr. - Abilene Christian: Myles also comes to Statesboro following an extremely productive season with the Wildcats. He totaled 115 tackles, eight tackles for loss, five fumble recoveries, three pass breakups, 2.5 sacks and an interception in 14 appearances this season. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

This article will be be continuously monitored and updated as commitments continue to trickle in.
