2025 three-star Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (GA) athlete Marshall Pritchett was one of the nation's biggest winners on the summer camp circuit.

College coaches across the nation took notice of his successes, with nine Division I programs adding to his offer list since the beginning of March.

"I always had a vision my whole life that I would get to this point, but it still feels surreal," Pritchett said. "I’m being blessed to be put in this position and I’m thankful for everyone that has helped me get here. I’m only gonna keep working."

Pritchett's success is nothing new to his family, as his father, Wes, was an All-American linebacker for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish during their 1988 national championship run.

"It’s awesome to have a role model like my father by my side," Pritchett said. "It’s helped me grow tremendously and he always has teaching points to give me. Which, throughout time, has helped me a lot to continue to develop as a football player."

An offer from the Irish is high on his list of wants for obvious reasons, but the program seems hesitant to officially extend an offer, something Pritchett has taken note of.

"Growing up a fan and with my fathers legacy there it’s an offer I’ve always dreamed of having," Pritchett said. "There’s been a lot of confusion and questions on my end when it comes to what they are waiting on, but I’m staying as patient at possible. I had an amazing performance at camp and honestly was expecting an offer, but I guess there were still questions."

As a member of the class of 2025, Pritchett has more than two years before he will sign with a college program. Despite his abundance of time, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound star is hoping to lock in a decision in just a few months.

"I would like to commit late January to spring," Pritchett said. "I want to lock my spot in somewhere, so I don’t see my commitment running into the summer. Honestly, I’m ready whenever the time is right. It could happen at any moment and I’ve accepted that. The recruitment process can be very stressful at times and expensive, so in my mind being committed sooner rather than later is the path I want to take."

While Pritchett has completed his summer schedule, he and his family have already begun the process of crafting a full schedule of game day visits during the upcoming season.
