Jim Larrañaga and the Miami Hurricanes hauled in the highest ranked commitment in program history on Wednesday.

2024 five-star Archbishop Wood (PA) shooting guard Jalil Bethea announced his commitment to the program during a Wednesday afternoon ceremony.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard is ranked as high as the No. 6 overall recruit and the No. 2 player at his position in the class of 2024. He is also the consensus No. 1 player in the state of Pennsylvania.

Following the addition of Bethea's commitment, Miami now holds the No. 3 overall 2024 recruiting class. Only North Carolina and Rutgers remain ahead of the Hurricanes.
