For many Division I college football programs, the class of 2025 has already become the main focus of their recruiting efforts.

Three-star Milton (GA) cornerback Dylan Lewis has quickly become one of the most highly coveted players in the class, holding 23 total offers. Nearly half of his offers have come since the calendar flipped over to 2023.

"It’s most definitely a blessing from God," Lewis said. "My talents are getting recognized and it makes me feel good after all the hours I've put in."

Among the first five schools to offers the 6-foot, 180 pound defensive back was Tennessee. Since receiving an offer from the Volunteers last summer, Lewis has made a numer of trips to Knoxville.

"They have been consistent from day one with communication," Lewis said. "It feels like home everytime I go there."

While Tennessee has undoubtedly made an impression on the junior defender, LSU has crept towards the top of Lewis' list since extending an offer in March.

"The love I get from LSU is amazing," Lewis said. "There's steady communication and it feels like one big family."

Clemson — who has recruited the Peach State as well as anyone in recent memory — joined the nearly two dozen schools on Lewis' list of offers in June. Despite the late offer, Lewis named the Tigers as one of the top three programs in his recruitment, alongside the two aforementioned universities.

"Clemson keeps consistently putting defensive backs in the league every year," Lewis said. "I hear from Clemson everyday, from handwritten letters to edits, all the time."

Lewis plans to be in attendance for Saturday's monster matchup between Clemson and Florida State. He will make another visit to Tennessee in October as the team takes on Texas A&M, before returning in November to see the Volunteers take on Georgia.
