With the 2024 recruiting cycle entering its final stretch this fall, a number of programs are already beginning to shift their focus to the class of 2025.

Among the top players in the class of 2025 is five-star Charles Henderson (AL) edge rusher Zion Grady, who already boasts nearly two dozen Division I offers.

“I feel good seeing the hard work being noticed," Grady said. "I don’t feel like a target is on my back. I just go out and play the game and have fun, but I do like those matchups against other top guys."

Grady spent many years in Georgia before his family relocated to Alabama, meaning the five-star athlete calls both states 'home.'

"It would be good to stay home but it’s not a main goal of mine," Grady said. "I spent half my life in Georgia and Alabama, so I consider Georgia home as well. I believe production and development is what makes Bama great. I like what I see from Auburn and the recruits they are getting in the '24 class."

While the three aforementioned programs have clearly made an impact on Grady, Florida State was one of the first programs to pursue his service. No other school has put more time and effort into Grady's recruitment than the Seminoles.

"FSU has been showing me a lot of love," Grady said. "they have made me feel like a top priority. They are building something special at FSU. I can’t wait to see how the next two years turn out for Coach (Mike) Norvell."

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound pass rusher posted a top-10 graphic on Sunday consisting of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and USC. But despite including ten programs on the list, Grady acknowledged a few programs that have begun to separate themselves in their recruiting of him.

"My recruitment is still early and growing weekly, so I don’t have a clear cut favorite right now," Grady said. "I still have a few more teams and new schools to visit before I make my official list, but Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, FSU and Oregon are high at the moment."

Along with the teams previously mentioned, Grady is planning to visit Clemson this fall, but a return visit to Tennessee will conclude his summer schedule.

A commitment as early as November was originally eyed by Grady, but his recruitment will remain open until he takes his official visits throughout the next year.
