The state of Georgia saw a great deal of high-level football across the board.
And this weekend's slate of high school football games in the Peach State is no different, featuring a number of talent-rich matchups.
Mill Creek (4-0) at Parkview (4-0)
Not only is this matchup one if the biggest in the state of Georgia, it may be the most important matchup in the nation. Both teams are loaded with top-tier talent and currently sit inside MaxPreps' top-40 teams in the country.
Cedar Grove (2-3) at Colquitt County (4-0)
Cedar Grove is making their second appearance on our list of game to watch abd rightfully so. The Saints may be sitting below .500, but two of those losses came against AAAAAAA programs. However, things won't get any easier as they travel to take on Colquitt County, who is currently the No. 13 team in America.
Lowndes (3-1) at Grayson (3-1)
In another loaded AAAAAAA matchup, two traditional powerhouses meet in what remains a pivotal matchup in the state of Georgia. Both teams have seen some shaky performances this season, but look to find their footing in one of the most important contests of the weekend.
East Coweta (5-0) at Lambert (4-0)
Even after taking down a top-10 Lowndes team on the road, the Indians remain the most underrated team in the state of Georgia. A win against a solid Lambert team should be enough to push East Coweta inside the top-10 teams in AAAAAAA.
Clarke County (3-1) at Jefferson (4-0)
In what was supposed to be the Prep Ballers Game of the Week, two of the top teams in AAAAA clash in a crosstown rivalry. Five-star linebacker and Clemson commit Sammy Brown is the most notable athlete on the field in Athens and looks to build on what is already a memorable career.
