Tulsa lands Texas safety over Power Five programs

Kevin Wilson has reeled in one of the biggest commitments in his short time at Tulsa.

In a graphic posted to his Twitter account, three-star Byron Nelson (TX) safety Ashton Williams announced his commitment to the Golden Hurricanes. Tulsa beat out Power Five programs such Arizona, Colorado and Texas Tech to land the talented defender.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back is ranked as high as the No. 1,015 overall recruit and the No. 46 player at his position in the class of 2024. His commitment moves the Golden Hurricanes inside the top-100 in the class of 2024 recruiting class rankings.
