Unanimous top-10 prospect sets commitment date

One of the best uncommitted players in the class of 2024 will end his recruitment soon.

IMG Academy (FL) defensive lineman David Stone announced in a Thursday afternoon Twitter post that he would be announcing his commitment on August 26.

Stone is ranked as high as the No. 6 overall recruit and the No. 1 defensive lineman in the class of 2024, making him one of a few consensus five-star prospects in the class.

At the time of writing, Stone is seemingly trending towards ending up at Oklahoma. However, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman listed Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon and Texas A&M as finalists alongside the Sooners.
