Similary to her male coaching counterpart, Georgia Southern head women’s basketball coach Hana Haden has hit the recruiting trail hard in her first summer in Statesboro.

In the month of July alone, Haden has extended 10 offers to high school athletes from across the country. Blank states were represented

Kentucky native and 6-foot-4 center Marissa Green was the first athlete to announce an offer from the Eagles in July. Offers to in-state guards Miyah Holmes and Tatum Brown followed shortly thereafter.

Power forward Dania Mcclain also added Georgia Southern to her long list of Division I offers, while the Eagles marked the first offer for North Carolina guard Kiara Anderson. The 5-foot-6 combo guard averaged over 21 points per game to go along with four steals during her time on the Under Armour UA Rise Competition circuit.

Sunshine State center Sara-Lee Blair — who stands at 6-foot-5 — announced her offer from the Eagles just over two weeks ago. Hopkins (MN) guard Tatum Woodson — who attends the same high school as Connecticut superstar Paige Bueckers — was the last athlete to announce an offer from Haden’s program in July.

As Haden prepares for year one in Statesboro, she will undoubtedly continue to hit the recruiting trail hard as she attempts to build upon a strong foundation.
